    Hi all,

I am grading on one workstation and then sending to another for rendering.

I export a project then import on my render station.

All media shows up online even though I have not mapped the drives manually in preferences.

However when I go to the render window and try to select the drives to render, they do not appear in the list, even though Resolve is seeing the drives because it is seeing the media in the timeline.

I go to preferences and add the drives, quit and reopen and they appear of course – but this seems to be a glitch because Resolve really is able to access the drives.

seems like a little bit of weirdness in how the database is constructed.

Resolve is seeing media on the drives and linking to it fine but one part of the interface is refusing to show the drives as available. I would have thought the drives are either available to use or not. I think this incomplete implementation qualifies as a bug.

Except you are expecting a certain result without fully complying with how the software wants to work.

As Andy mentioned, it’s more sup rising that you got media to begin with… Why don’t you just add the volumes to DaVinci? That way you don’t have to worry about it…
