    Minimum system requirements

    • Mac OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion
    • 12 GB of system memory is recommended and 8 GB is the minimum supported
    • Blackmagic Design Desktop Video version 10.1.1 or later
    • CUDA Driver version 6.5.18
    • NVIDIA Driver version – As required by your GPU
    • RED Rocket-X Driver 2.1.10.0 and Firmware 1.3.4.11 or later
    • RED Rocket Driver 1.4.36.0 and Firmware 1.1.17.3 or later

    did you check the alpha channel in the media-pool?
    for some reason davinci ignores it on import but
    you can manually allocate it (straight/premult etc)!

    are you doing primaries only? secondary corrections may result in strange visuals…

    resolve and mp4 are no buddies 🙁

    transcode to prores and you should be flying…

    if you have them in fcp as well, set the timeline
    to millions of color+ and prores 4444. then render
    them and reimport them in davinci.

    i treat burnt in subs that way with no problems!

    i would also love a better support for the eclipse! (eg a timecode display that works 🙂
