Thanks Mike Core Temp said I 20 drive problems, will it fix those problems though. I replaced the reader/writer unit that slides in/out that you put the discs on, you guy’s r very helpfull so thank you.

about a week ago, I had to replace my internal disc loader.

I’m using Vegas Pro 8 and the only thing shutting down is Vegas, I cleaned out the dust about a week ago because I had to replace the internal disc loader. I do have an external hard drive and I use both for projects, I’m not sure what version of Vegas I’m using (32bit or 64bit).

Thank you for your help Steve, I did what you suggested and it still won’t go past 66%. Could it be that it stops at 66% just when it starts to burn because my driver has something wrong with it? I tried to burn other projects that I have already finished and burned and now can’t burn, I here the sound the driver makes when it starts to burn and it stops within a few seconds and does nothing. I have a project due in about a week and of course some thing has to go wrong…..

Will that interrupt any of the projects I have in Vegas.

When I go in my folder and click on sony and then click on Vegas Pro 8 there is no set up option, all I see is:
Vegas Pro 8 Network Render Service
Vegas Pro 8 Read me
Vegas Pro 8
Video Capture 6.0 Read meDo I need to reinstall the program.

Would it be labeled a different way because I’m not seeing “vegas80_enu”.

I tried that it was at one and it still is the same, is there a key stroke that maybe caused this. I also opened up DVD Architect and that played fine, after that I thought I would go back in Vegas and go to “explorer” and try to see if the music in my library would play and I got the same bad sound as well but it played fine in itunes.
