DVD Architect Pro 5.0
Posted by Allen King on October 15, 2010 at 5:08 ami’m using DVD Architect Pro 5.0, I’m having a problem making a DVD. When I’m burning a DVD it gets to 66% and stays there, it’s saying one or more chapter markers are to close and they need to be more than 1sec apart. I’ve moved the markers but it still only goes to 66% and stays there.

October 15, 2010 at 1:02 pmYou are describing two actions – the ‘markers too close’ error comes when you are preparing the DVD, and you say that it stops burning at 65%.
If it ALWAYS stops at 65% then it could be that you have a flaw in the media – go back to Vegas and encode the MPEG and AC3 files again. Also, make sure your temp and destination folders are not getting full.

October 18, 2010 at 12:01 amThank you for your help Steve, I did what you suggested and it still won’t go past 66%. Could it be that it stops at 66% just when it starts to burn because my driver has something wrong with it? I tried to burn other projects that I have already finished and burned and now can’t burn, I here the sound the driver makes when it starts to burn and it stops within a few seconds and does nothing. I have a project due in about a week and of course some thing has to go wrong…..

October 18, 2010 at 2:50 amDVD Burners are cheap. If it isn’t your problem then you have a spare. Is this your only PC?

October 18, 2010 at 4:36 pmTry creating and image instead of burning to a disc… this will tell you weather it is a disc creation problem or a disc burning problem.. also… change the name of the project…. Ken

October 18, 2012 at 2:13 pmFound problem I went through 20 DVD trying to burn always stopping at 66 %. I changed the file path to my own directory and then it burned all the way. No problems hope it works for you.
