I put the export settings on progressive when I exported the Quicktime files. But like I said.. neither an export with a lossless or lossy codec (I tried both, that’s what I meant by lossy/lossless) gave me a progressive ‘label’ in mediainfo..
So basically…you are saying that if I exported the file as progressive or interlaced.. the output file is still that.. I just doesnt show up in MediaInfo because that program cant handle that file format very well.. That’s good to know, because I thought maybe files would ‘loose’ their progressive/interlaced status as soon as you encode them to a lossless or lossy format. Thank you for clearing that up.
Would you know a fileinfo programme (like Mediainfo) that would be able to detect this properly? thank you for your explanation (and pardon my bad English).
