I am exporting some architectural animations for editing in After effects.

will do some render elements such as reflection and refraction light, and couple more.

Render is Vray and we have a day and a night scene with lots of lights.

I love the linear editing and float especially you can bring down peaked highlights with simple exposure effect.

Would 16 bit be more then good for this… I am using render farm and need to transfer the files back to my computer of course.

So if there is no ISO in post, does this mean the ISO set during the shoot is imbedded in the DNG files and can not be changed ?

Thank you, Yes, I have but that creates more scratch disks, so with the
small blue icon. (I use windows 8)

It does work and I can load footage. How ever I dont imagine that this is correct as i have seen in tuts that the icon needs to be the folders/

Question, should this be done to the raw files or after editing so the final product?

Is there any loss..

I would prefer twixtor as I do not own the mentioned hardware. That is if it can do the same quality job as the hardware.

Im sure its 30 frames, i shot at 30 frames, the camera was set to 30 frames progressive.

Is there a big difference between a production house and twixtor etc?

yes, the once I tried were both mamphroto

and were not heavy enough, fell over 2 x

OK, the real frame rate is:

Filmed at 30 (BMCC) and as you say I need 23.976

Yes I need to preserve the speed…

Will twixtor still work, and are there down sides???

I know that VideoCoPilot has a preset for AE as well…

Just want to find the best conversion.

Just got adviced by B&H to get the:

NVIDIA Quadro K4200

Goes for around 775,- U$

Would this be the best option for that price?

I have i7, 2.93, 24 gigs ddr4
