you might be able to export an EDL…
(basic cuts list) from a single track in a seqeunce…
then import that into FCP…
and batch capture based in it….
other than that….

If the clip is already on the timeline, then double click it to load it into the source viewer.
Navigate to where you want a marker and hit the * key on the keypad to add a non numbered marker.

but not quite…
Avid and edit* had a function where clips in the bin or the source viewer could be ganged with the timeline.
In this way….you could sync lock a practically unllimited number of sources…
as you scrubbed the timeline….
when you loaded a source into the source viewer, it would show you in sync where it’s parked.

Hiya…
Diagonal bars on a clip or transition in the sequence is an indication that the Clip event on the timeline is of a longer duration than the media file it’s connected to.
Sounds like something is not quite right with the conversion….with regards to the frame rates…where the new sources you are connecting to are too short…
that’s also why things are going black….
you need to compare the original source versus the converted source in the timeline and see if the converted source plays a little too fast…

Hi,
to match a project to you source settings….
Import a camtasia clip, then check it’s properties…
then create a new project template that matches those settings….
then you should be good for working with camtasia source….

As long as the original file still exists in the project (which I assume it does as you still have it’s audio in the sequence):
There is a Keyboard command you might have to map called: Match Frame (i set it to H)
1) Park you timeline cursor at the head of a clip where the Video has been removed on the timeline.
2) Select the Gap by clicking on it and hit the / key. This will Mark the duration of the gap.
3) Click the Audio Track label that contains the audio for the source.
4) Press The H (or whatever you mapped it to) key. This reloads the original clip into the source viewer and parks the playhead in the viewer to the “matched frame” of what you have on the timeline.
5) Clear all the in and out points in the viewer (G Key unless you’ve remapped it)
6) Press I to mark and in on the source viewer
7) Press . to perform an overlay edit back to the timeline.
You should now have your original source back on the timeline…

It seems kind of silly….
but what about one of those PDF print add ons like Primo PDF?
Open the PDF then File Print and choose Primo PDF as the printer….
long shot, but it might work…

Yeah…
but create a word file that includes a .OLE spreadsheet in it linked via path and i wonder what you’ll get when it can’t find the data?
