    In the end I exported the footage without masks, then imported into final cut pro, and applied the masks there. Less of a head ache this way 🙂

    No worries, I’ve solved my own prob, I wasn’t getting the time line Ie xpected, just at to manually make the window smaller, duh.

    It opens, it’s just that it doesn’t have the in and out points that you’re able to use with 1080 footage.

    Do you see the in and out points with 4k? I do have chapter markers on the file too, which I failed to mention, does this have an effect on whether you can use the in and out points in qt7?

    Thanks for the reply.

    FCPx successfully launches quicktime as standard and the script does work on it’s own from the programme its self

    1440 * 1080 are the dimensions.

    I’ve noticed since that it is only in safari and doesn’t appear in chrome. Is it possible that it’s a browser issue?
