    Hi,

I’m aware that using quicktime 7 is useful for dropping in the odd 1080 video footage and saving it is quicker than reexporting again.

However, with 4k these options do not seem to be available. Is there a work around without having to go through FCPx so you can just drop a 4k clip in either in quicktime or another programme?

    Thanks

I’ve opened 4K files in QuickTime 7.6.6 Pro. What’s not working for you?

It opens, it’s just that it doesn’t have the in and out points that you’re able to use with 1080 footage.

Do you see the in and out points with 4k? I do have chapter markers on the file too, which I failed to mention, does this have an effect on whether you can use the in and out points in qt7?
