Actually, I can’t even get it to try and import. When I go to select it in import, either as an asset or timeline, it shows up as gray (unselectable). In the finder, it says it’s a unix executable file. Very, very weird to me.

    Non-Interlaced
    CBR 1 Pass
    Bitrate 8000 KBPS
    Reference Frames: 4
    Search Shape 8×8
    Entropey Code CABAC
    All Checked:
Uses Fast inter and intra decision
    Uses Hadamard Transfer

    Motion Estimation: Quarter Pixel

    Checked:

    That’s all. Thanks a lot.

The file is an .h264. I’m on an apple and in the finder it says it’s a Unix Executable file. The paramaters I set in Procoder were pretty basic and I tried it as a raw H.264 and using an MPEG stream.

I might take you up on that. I’ve been taking the Lynda.com tutorials on Director for the past week. It is a curve, but the good news is I’ve got six weeks to do this project so I should be able to figure it out in time. The scripting is the tough part, but I think the standard scripts that are preprogramed will be enough for me. Thanks!

That was the problem. I saw on the Avid page that it needed to be 720×486, but somehow I thought it said 480. Thanks Guys.

Nevermind. I cut and pasted. Not nested. I did that and it’s right. Thanks.

When I do this, everything is off center to the left. Will this correct itself in the quicktime file or do i need to move everything?

Actually, this is a NTSC DV Widescreen 720 x 480. When I create a new comp and make it square pix it won’t let me use the widescreen present. What should I make the height and width. Thanks!
