Hi Paul,

There is a floor bit.. under the physics section.. if you go to floor action you can choose bounce..

I can’work out how you move the floor.. but there must be a way..

I’ll keep looking…

I solved the problem..

I was being an idiot.. it was YUV 8 bit..

I was working in 1050 x 576… forgot to squash it to 720 x 576 at render..

doh !!!

Thanks Kevin,

I finally found out how to delete the preferences.. and this has worked.. which is a huge relief
as I really didn’t fancy installing all the Red Giant plugins again with seperate serial numbers !!

I’ve changed the Ram and cores to what you recomended..

the trouble is now…I am so used to waiting for three seconds.. when I go back to AE.. I find myself pausing..

Hi Roger,

It’s a crazy world of Aspect Ratios.. I would honestly render it at 1050 x 576 and put a not saying it’s rendered to adobe / BBC standard..

But if it really is bothering you.. just change your project setting to 1024 x 576.

and render it like that.

Hi Todd,
Thanks for the reply.. I’ve been playing about with the settings since you replied to my post..

and I can’t really see any difference..

I’ve got 20 gig of ram.. and I’ve allowed 10 for other programmes..

but there still is a delay..

I’m going for 12 others and 8 AE..
