    Hi There,

I’m rendering out of After Effects to import into Premiere to layoff to tape..

What Native renderer should I use from After Effects… So premiere doesn’t need to render before it exports to tape..

I thought it was either Blackmagic 10bit or Uncompressed YUV..

But all of these need to render first ???

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Just to add a little detail to Dave’s suggestion to use “the codec of your other footage in Premiere”, it’s best to make sure everything else is the same too … frame rate, frame size, PAR, audio codec, etc.

I dont actually have any footage to match it with.

But I kinda see where you are coming from. I’ll check when I get into work in the morning.

    I solved the problem..

I was being an idiot.. it was YUV 8 bit..

    I was working in 1050 x 576… forgot to squash it to 720 x 576 at render..

    doh !!!

    Thanks for all your help…
