    you might try an H.264 compression, limiting your data rate so that the end clip is under say, 20 MB. This may involve some downconverting.

    I have one more question for you or anybody else. Should I leave the DVD footage interlaced if it will be played on a DVD player that is hooked up to a projector rather than a television?

    anyways, (childish people need not answer) i most likely WILL be showing the DVD from a dvd player to a wall projecter, and need serious input.

    exactly. if you have a faster shutter speed, there is less time for light to register on the chips or on the film, thus the camera will not produce as pristine of an image, and grain will result from a smaller of number of light rays “burning”. I think you need to touch up on your knowledge of shutter and aperture a bit.
