1. Save date and time as SRT subtitles (your footage must have recording date/time metadata)
2. Import SRT subtitles and create a text track -
Select an event on the timeline and choose Tools > Video > Media FX

2. Copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl+C)

Templates are ordinary Vegas projects (.veg files). You extract them from RAR archives, open in Vegas (File > Open) and edit as you need. That’s it.
