    Yes, really nice!

I’ve said it before, but I love how Paul always adds music to his clips — makes it seem more impressive. In this case though, I was expecting something dramatic to happen, like a shark attack or something.

Needs some soothing new-age type music. =)

The key is to r-click on the emitter in the stage window, not in the hierarchy where you r-clicked it.

There are a few emitters like that already…

Aharon made a TNG warp side emitter in the 08 2003 library that might work (might need to adjust it a little for your needs)

There’s a “fast flow” emitter somewhere too, but I can’t remember where it is.

Doesn’t that clip in the demo reel explain enough? It shows the original footage, the keyed footage, the animated particle shapes used, the disintegrated particles alone, then the whole thing put together. If you’ve already been through the disintegrating people tutorial, then it’s just a matter of using the animated particle shapes.

Oh, and there’s also the “reverse”, where the particles form the person. That was done by reversing the order of the frames in a video editing app.

It may just be my preference, but if you only have one or two emitters to share, it’s easier if you save them in a project file instead of a library file.

With a project file I can leave my current library loaded and still view your work. With a library, I have to go into the manager to see it.

[Elvis Deane] “Forces at the edge of the stage pointing back in, with a very low life”

I think Elvis meant “low strength” instead of “low life”, since Forces don’t have “life”.
