What are the parameters I need to adjust to keep my particles slowly floating on my stage without leaving the confines of the stage? If I need a deflector, I’d rather it not be obvious that the particles are bouncing off of “walls.” I’m trying to just keep them in view for the duration of he animation.
    Thanks ahead of time.

[Mike] “slowly floating on my stage”

Easy: just set the emitter velocity to 5% or something low like this.

[Mike] “without leaving the confines of the stage”

Not easy — there is no way to control this. I’m also not sure why you need this restriction. Just create an area emitter that covers the entire stage, set the velocity very low, and adjust the number so you have the particle density you want.

You could always put some Forces at the edge of the stage pointing back in, with a very low life. That way when the particles reached the edge of the stage, they’d get blown gently back in the other direction.

I think Elvis meant “low strength” instead of “low life”, since Forces don’t have “life”.
