Okay, found it in the manual now thanks. It’s all down to how you prepare the warping object and its orientation.

A word of warning though. I understand HitFilm will not work interlaced. Maybe not an issue with most?

Gerald, would you mind giving me a real fools step by step as to how to do this?

    Many thanks Alan

So it’s not been addressed in CS6 either! That’s bad.

I’ve given up PPro now in favour of Edius. Not so feature rich but totally stable and fast with lots of realtime.

For every piece of media it gives a full filepath and, get this, it’s a real lifesaver, it’ll relink totally automaticlly if just the drive letter’s changed!! What this means is that I can have my main fast drive as say P drive, with everything mirrored on an identical but slower cheaper drive as backup. When I open the project from the backup drive Edius just opens as normal, no relinking or anything!!

So in case of catastrophic failure of the main drive there’s no down time at all – wonderful.

Yes I know. I’d thought I’d done that. Probably this project is a very old one that’s been ‘revitalised’ a number of times.

    All the best

Bang on Ashish, thanks. Project settings was 30fps – no idea how that got set. We live and learn!
