Ah yes, but what about particular? I mean, I haven’t even done much with the bloody thing. I just keep twirling the camera around repeatedly, watching all the pretty sparkles. Its madly addictive. Unbelievable plugin. Kind of like motion designer crack. And what about the preset that comes off like trapcode stroke? i showed to the others in the department & they just started making weird groaning sounds while flopping their arms around. (well maybe not quite…:)

whats the story with the h263(or something close to that) codec that apple were showing off recently?. the comparison movies seemed to show something about the size of hi-def, with data rate of 320-240 or thereabouts… I know it wouldn’t impact the render times (hi-def.eek) but the compression-quality seemed at a glance very impressive. has anybody tried it?

Yup. Being pathologically afraid of expressions, I’ve used the wiggler, with essentially no wiggle, set to every frame, to get the keyframes..

Exam? There’s an exam? With an NDA? I’m so horribly out of the loop with this software. I never know what the codename for the upcoming release is, I only learnt the option-home shortcut a few months ago (seriously regretting not having known that one four years ago.) I can’t type an expression worth a damn.. Rhubarb, rhubarb, mutter, mutter..

Architecture I say, I know a few & they’re raking it. And they get to wear hard hats. Or property development in Ireland: i can’t recommend this one highly enough, they’re making so much money its begun to seriously distort the irish economy…:0)

I’m sad. I’d completely forgotten that adobe introduced that feature. Just played with it; feels nice and springy. I wonder does illustrator have it too? Seems good for gooey logos. I see what you mean though. But i’m thinking that rehrers illustration shows the bezier control cage points surrounding the object, as opposed to sitting directly on it? (if I’d ever actually used commotion, this answer would be much shorter..)
