has anyone seen Filip Vandueren’s tutorial on using the channel calculations effect to simulate bleach bypass thing? Thats lovely. I think I still have a bad tendency to get caught up in effects & goo. What a zen wee way to play the footage. Vermeerie even? Vermeer-Vandueren-vermeer.. & stopping now. Theres a similarly nifty type of thing in a trish/cris meyer tut. on dv.com to do with gamma correction. Type of thing that makes you (me) go; oh, I don’t know much of sod all really. Many, many miles too go in truth. Sigh. 🙂

    Hi Aindreas,

    thanks 😉

It was kind of my point not to use too many plugins, I have almost no 3rd party plugins installed and usually get the job done 😉

Ah yes, but what about particular? I mean, I haven’t even done much with the bloody thing. I just keep twirling the camera around repeatedly, watching all the pretty sparkles. Its madly addictive. Unbelievable plugin. Kind of like motion designer crack. And what about the preset that comes off like trapcode stroke? i showed to the others in the department & they just started making weird groaning sounds while flopping their arms around. (well maybe not quite…:)

    And there you have it:

(as we say in Belgium) the exception that confirms the rule.

Trapcode make indispensable stuff, you just neeeed that stuff 😎
