yes and no. if any of the properties are animated, the animation will need to be scaled – select the property ancd right click in the timeline for the option.
Also – if the partricle shape is made from a sequnce of images that are playing, this won’t work because when you record at a higher frame rate it will cycle those images much faster. The only solution I know if is to make your own image sequences that account for this – so make an image sequence with more frames.

Why don’t you try an image sequence like Tiff, TGA or PNG? Almost every video app can recognize a sequence of images as a video.

yes. Here’s how:
– In the timline, Select the footage you want to replace.
– In the Project panel, begin to drag the footage you want to use as the replacement towards the timeline, while holding down Alt (Option on a mac)
– Let go of the footage (still holding alt).
this replacec the footage.
Lather, rinse, repeat.

This won’t work for Levels gama as its not keyframable on it’s own, but it will work with contrast.
Place this expression in the contrast property for the Brightness and contrast effect:
x=transform.position[2];
linear(x,0,1000,0,-100)THe first line creates a variable that says: The term “x” means whatever value is listed in the Z position property.
The next line says, take that value which will vary between 0 and 1000, and convert it to a value that fits within the range 0 to -100.
As a result, as the layer moves from Z=0 to Z=1000 it will go from default contrast (0) to no contrast (-100).
You can change those parameters (and you’ll probably want to) especially if you want the layer to move back further before completely losing contrast. So set the 3rd parameter (the 1000 in the linear function above) to however far back you want it to be before it loses all contrast.
FYI – I have a tutorial coming out soon that expalins the whole linear function.

First Cartoonify – then remove the green in AE.
Also, Make sure to allow only one green in the color pallete to ensure an easy key.
