    What sometimes works is to increase the amount of frames in the project. Then play it back at normal rate.

    yes and no. if any of the properties are animated, the animation will need to be scaled – select the property ancd right click in the timeline for the option.

    Also – if the partricle shape is made from a sequnce of images that are playing, this won’t work because when you record at a higher frame rate it will cycle those images much faster. The only solution I know if is to make your own image sequences that account for this – so make an image sequence with more frames.
