Man I´ve already seen that and have been tripping on my jaw ever since.

It looks great. How long have we been waiting?!?!

Just hope it doesn´t come more expensive than the software itself…not that it´s not worth it.

    Cheers.

Hi there. Look for the number effect. With a few keyframes you can achieve what you[re looking for.

    Hope it helps.

    Cheers!

I could replicate your problem by opening a project and “accidentally” hitting some keys when the serch area was selected on the Project tab.

Most things disapered. When I asked the comp to be revealed it shown up alone in the project panel just like you said.

Maybe that was what happened. Maybe not. But those little things sometime can really twist our minds.

Hope it was what happened and not some sort of problem you will run into again in the future.

I just wanted to share the tought.

    Cheers.

November 18, 2010 at 1:26 pm in reply to: Problem when importing C4d into AE

I´m not a C4D guy so I really don´t know what you mean by exporting from C4D to AE. Do you mean you render the video (or image sequence) or are you able to open the C4D file on AE?

As I´m a 3Dsmax user and assuming you rendered it (and also apologising if I´m going completly sideways) it looks like C4D rendered the wrong viewport or camera.

Just my two bits. Forgive me if I didn’t understand your post correctly.

    Cheers.

    Hi there!

Did you check your import settings in the preferences to see if it matches your frame rate?

    Just throwing it out there.

    Cheers.

    And by the way thanks!

I´ve never thought of applying cc sphere to a shape layer (thought it would be the same as applying it to a solid)

Now I´m playing around and the possibilities are awesome!

    Cheers!

I made a simple test here and the same thing occourred.

But only when I applyed the CC sphere to a Shape Layer.

When I apply it to a Solid or to an Image everything works fine.

It must have something to do with shape layers. I don´t know but maybe the fact that it is made out of stroke and fill and is not actualy a solid coordinate based thing. But now I guess I´m triping.

Let´s leave the explanation to Todd.

Try using a solid. It will work.

If I´m not mistakeing it´s called Tilt Shift.

Normally it´s done with some special lenses.

But it can be achieved in post as well.

    Here´s a great way:

    Hope it helps.
