    Thanks for the replies gentleman!
I am very close to get what I am looking for. At this point my issue will hopefully be solved by tweaking.
That is that glass/glitter particle look I am after… (this is the ref for the look
    https://www.istockphoto.com/stock-video-14569555-snowfall-defocus-loop.php?st=34da903.
    I learned that there are many ways to achieve it, for example;
    sweeping light, as Ted suggested
letting a fractal layer control the “glitter”
And I assume some new features in Particular’s shading are related, but I am still trying to figure it out.
Hopefully will upload / share when I figure it to perfection.

I agree with you guys! it’s a very general question.
I have many different shots from different sources, I might post some examples for further opinions.
I will look at the suggestions Steve posted.

    Thank you!

    Hey Ted!
    Thanks for the quick reply.
Yes I am trying to make it closer to the interior. But really just to give it a sense of some-kind of light inside, which is florescent office/work space like.
(here is a similar inside light)
    https://www.imagesphotospictures.com/data/media/119/office_pictures1.jpg
Due to the strong sun light and the reflections on the glass, I am looking for a gentle compose, and not just “replacing”
If you have a suggestion I will be glad to hear it!
    Thanks again.

October 10, 2010 at 8:53 pm in reply to: Rendering Issues on CS5

Hello again. I was away but now I am back, and back to my problem…
I just realized I posted ‘fresh’ post a couple of hours ago, about the same issue I never resolved here. I apologize for the double post, but I thought this is the right to continue! (Can’t seem to delete a post after 30 minutes of it being online)

    As for my problem:
I understand 8GB of RAM is not a lot, but i believe that a clean video with no effects and no other applications in the background should at least be able to render out a proxy so I could work…
I will try and play around with more setting.

    P.S
    The software here is updated.

If anyone has any more suggestions, again
Can’t seem to render Quick Time HD file to a 1/4 of it’s quality, in QT Photo JPG or Sorenson.
I am a bit stuck on this one. I believe I was able to do so with older machines on 32bit.

I will ask. I think we did not.
I will post soon if it was resolved.
I really hope an update will be the cure.

    Thank you.

Thanks a lot for the replies.
John, the presets are great but the _ underscore is a tough issue to solve, at least for me.
Roland, your example is simple to execute and can be applied easily over and over.

    Thank!

December 7, 2009 at 3:36 pm in reply to: How would I tackle video screens morphing to a logo

    Michael
The tutorial you linked is an amazing lesson!
I am tinkering and playing with it as we speak.

For me, since I wanna have control of the screens while floating in space, your second suggestion is the way to go.
As far as I see it, it’s very similar, the difference is Card Dance vs. Hand animating when it come to “floating in 3d space”

As far as for your idea of“…perhaps use some sort of greyscale map-based transition such as gradient wipe based on a precomposed fractal noise or turbulent noise layer…”

I will first try to make it work and look good, later I will deal with the change/dissolve/wipe. didn’t think about it yet 🙂

    Thanks again!
