Thanks. I’m glad it’s normal. But can other programs like Shake or Color use more memory?

I have 4GB. But FCP sees much less.
But the mac itself sees all the 4gb. So I don’t think it’s the memory. It must be within FCP. What could it be? -
“I guess I find it kinda funny that some people who shifted to FCP because it offered hi-end features at a lo-end price are, now that they are more established, complaining about Apple offering products with hi-end features for lo-end prices.

“If FC server works like I think it will we won’t have to drill down thru multiple folders looking for assets. We’ll just do a search for what we are looking in FC server then drag the asset(s) into FCP.”
Isn’t it like the search feature in Windows? 😀
If you name it right and know the name of what you are looking for, just type in the search box and hit search. Hehehe -
How would you feel Color(Final Touch) compares to Pablo?

By what I got watching Color’s video demo it does that too.You can save looks and or presets and apply them anywhere in the timeline. Is that what you mean?

If you say there’s nothing like that out there, that means it also beats Color Finesse?
CF is pretty powerful and most people always said there was nothing out there besides the extreme high end stuff like Da Vinci to compare with it. -
Yeah looks really cool. Let’s see if it really replaces CF.
But there are people complaining it’s a stand alone application rather than a plug in because you then have to export to Color and can’t work inside FCP.
I also just read a rumor that Color is actually Final Touch 2K. If it’s true, wow! That was a $24,000 application.
Well, CF can still sell to windows users.
