yes everything is set to automatic. I even increased the gain on the one clip that was from the internal microphone of the camera that was lower in volume than the other. but both clips are very well recorded
so….I don’t think that should be an issue in the syncronization…ugh -

Hey John thanks for taking the time to write. Since my first post I tried something different. I used the flip for mac software that comes with the cam and copied all the files to my external drive. Now I cam bring them in as avi files and the play but I have to render them all. What’s a better way that you would suggest doing this?

I have an iMac 2.4 ghz with 4 gigs of ram. I am running FCP 6.06
I am bringing full res files in off of a DVD that was burned for me as a test but will have them eventually on a drive. How do I do the prores proxy? HD I mean as 1980×1080 shot on an 5d canon. Thanks! -
Yes those archaic terms- I want to work off line and then convert back to the original files for the output. My iMac can’t handle the prorez. Thanks!
