error message ~10839
Error Message: ~10839 at Start Up
I was working on my Avid Media Composer on a Mac OSX.
I was trying to export my sequence to an OMF file for the first time (I would like to bring the project into Logic for an audio mixdown) and it wasn’t completing properly. I kept getting messages about having to transcode/convert certain files.
Frustrated, I quit out and deleted media files from my external hard drive (files I thought were newly created aif files from OMFI Media File folder) thinking they were new files created during the failed exports. I was pretty sure they were only aif files but I may have selected a couple files unknowingly…
Now when I try to start back up again, I’m getting the following error message at Start Up and I can’t open Avid:
Exception: osxmidi10 midiclient create failed, OSStatus: ~10839
Does anyone have any advice? I immediately started running a recovery program on my external- not sure if this will work but will find out when the program is done…
Please let me know. I know I made a mistake and would like to rectify the situation if possible.
