Been trying to convert flip cam files with compressor using prores 422 settings but when I import the converted file into FCP, all I get is a white movie and audio that plays. But both have to be rendered. What am I doing wrong!?!?!?!?

Exactly what are your audio & video settings in Compressor? Look in the Inspector. What version FCP? I’ve done this a lot and never had any problems. Must be a wrong setting somewhere.

Hey John thanks for taking the time to write. Since my first post I tried something different. I used the flip for mac software that comes with the cam and copied all the files to my external drive. Now I cam bring them in as avi files and the play but I have to render them all. What’s a better way that you would suggest doing this?
