yeah Ill second the frame rate thing…

in the option dialog box on import …be sure that your detect sequential images option is on…..

google it- works great…works via quick time ref files….I use it for my Color correction phase .

hey all-

yes i was looking forward to FCPX but wow that things seem to be a mess.

Ive been on avid mc5 for about 18moths and after a year of Adobe PP killing me with 4-5 major crashes per day I have had a great time with avid and look forward to MC5.5

please let me add this…these are changing time and I know how mental that can feel. Do great work and be ready to learn and I think you will land on your feet! best of luck!

hey guys I know this post is a few years old but maybe you will see it .

I am trying to bring dnx36 files to a project on my laptop…

I forgot to grab the bin and project file from the main edit rig….how do i get media tool to recognize the the files and bring them in?

any help would be great

Well- have you considered metafuze transcode to DNX?

you can run it in bootcamp mode on your MAC…

on those mac books i would assume running media on an external drive is the thing to and i would think that one of the DNX codes would be great yes?
