Install the Premiere Pro 2.0 update and open up a copy of the project in 2.0 to see if the problem exists. If not, then you are all set. IfAanarav Sareen

1. The green/black stills issue is a known issue with version 1.5 Premiere Pro 2.0 eliminates this issue. However, if you reduce the dimensions of the stills, it will no longer be a problem in 1.5.
2. If you have Premiere Pro 2.0, I would install it. Remember, it doesn’t install it over 1.5, so you can have both 1.5 as well as 2.0 installed on the same system. However, before you open your project in 2.0, make a copy of it, just in case.

1. Dupliate your audio track.
2. Place one copy on Audio 1
3. Place the second copy on Audio 2.
4. Apply the ‘Fill Left’ audio filter to the audio clip on Audio 1
5. Apply the ‘Fill Right’ audio filter to the audio clip on Audio 2.Hope that helps,

Here is the solution:
Download GraphEdit from Videohelp Tools or from anyplace else on the web that you prefer.
Once you’ve downloaded and installed (should take about 10 seconds), open GraphEdit and choose Graph > Insert Filters. Scroll down to a listing for “Video Capture Sources” and expand it to see what’s there. If you’ve got anything other than Microsoft DV camera and VCR, then expand that entry to see the location and name of the file. Navigate to that location and rename it’s file extension to .old. Now try capturing in PPro 2.

It’s definitely the card. This was an issue even with Premiere Pro 1.0 and the Matrox card.

It’s not a bug. However, it is a problem with a few systems. Premiere Pro 2.0 broadened the capture criteria, so a lot more hardware based solutions are supported (HDV and the Aja cards) and hence the cause of the problem. There is a solution some place, I just have to look for it 🙂Aanarav Sareen

Download a software called ScLive from https://www.scenalyzer.com and try capturing via that app. Does the same thing happen?
