  • Is there an easy way to get two master mono channels?

I need to send out my master tape with the FULL audio program (all channels) mixed on channel 1 AND 2. Basically this would be two master mono channels. Since I can only put out two master channels via Stereo (tell me if I’m wrong) what is the easiest way to make sure both left and right are identical? I know I can get there by setting my Master Track to Mono and then importing my whole timeline as a new “stereo” sequence but I was hoping there was an easy export option hidden somewhere like FC has.

    1. Dupliate your audio track.
    2. Place one copy on Audio 1
    3. Place the second copy on Audio 2.
    4. Apply the ‘Fill Left’ audio filter to the audio clip on Audio 1
    5. Apply the ‘Fill Right’ audio filter to the audio clip on Audio 2.

    Hope that helps,

Alternatively, you could try creating a mono submix, and routing all of your source sound tracks to the submix. The submix would then route to master out.

That sounds like the easiest option. I’ll give that a try, thanks Mike
