Since, it’s only a 15 minute DVD, locate the quality slider of any preset you are using and shift it from ‘5’ to ‘3’. That should reduce the time significantly.

Really depends on your preferences. But, for that amount, the PC is definitely worth it.

Hmm..What are your shooting properties? What is the audio rate?

This is what I would do:
1. Download SP2 from Microsoft’s website.
2. Burn it onto a CD.
3. Reformat your hard-drive with your Windows XP disc
4. Install SP1
5. Install SP2
6. Follow the directions on Matrox’s site for installation of drivers.Aanarav Sareen
