If I understand you correctly, do this:
1) Suppose your edited footage is in sequence A
2) You want to move that to a new sequence (assumption)
3) File > New > Sequence (call this sequence B)
4) Drag Sequence A from the project window into Sequence BDoes that work?

Premiere Pro will not recognize the Sapphire transitions as transitions (atleast it did not do so with 1.0 of the plugins). If you install it in en_US, you should be OK, but they will be recognized as effects and not as plugins.

Now that is a very technical question. First, ask them what their technical specifications are and then start color correcting. Each studio has different requirements.

Firewire hubs usually can’t handle drives or anything major for that matter (cameras/tv cards etc.) I would reccomend plugging them directly into your computer or try using a USB port for connecting your drives.

WMA is an audio format. Is there a reason why you are exporting to WMA as compared to any other format? What source material are you using? (ie: what type of footage are you trying to burn to DVD?)

Can you post a screenshot of the project preferences available on your system? And yes, there should be an HDV option there, unless you are using the trial version.
