The biggist thing one would need to run the buisness is a solid understanding of how to run a buisness. It is some thing that gets over lookes all the time and the buisness suffers because ther person lacs understanding of basic buisness practices.
The biggist thing that helps me is a solid tape cataloging system. Being able to fing your rawfootage and masters is a must.
As far as equipment much of that will be determined by your budget, and by how complex you want to get in shooting wedings.

Bob I in know way try to pass myself self off as a profesonal wrighter. I simply said that it is somthing that he should work on if he wants to do it.
As for your unkind and unneeded comments about me that alone speeks for how profesonal you are.

I woundt do as far as saying that windows media player is the most populer one out there, just because it automaticaly comes on all windows computers douse not make it populer.
And like I said they probably already have quicktime on there computer because if they already install iTunes which actualy is a populer program quicktime was installed at the same time.
if you want to spend money to let then play it fine but sence they probably already have quicktime (and its free if they dont) you can do it for free

He dont have the option to ask them to install a piece of software that they probably already have.
If it wasnt an option he probably would have said so.
I wasnt being arogent he is the one that called them “pc folks”

tell “those pc folks” to download and install quicktime for windows (if they have itunes they alredy have it) and just give them a quicktime file

I dont neseserily agree with the other guy that you should not do any work for free. It could defenatly get you some thing to show others so that they will hire you. Try asking friends if there company could use a training video of commercial. But I woould at least contact a production company that already douse corperite work and ask if yoou could elp out on a shoot or to to see how things work because produsing from a script is vary differnt then doing a weding.
Also practise wrighting soome scripts, wrighting a good one is a lot harder then most people think. Get a hold of some scripts and read them. Learn proper script format.
