First off you need to remember that you will always find more bad user comments on line then good ones. WHY, because it is the bad experiences that upset people. I mean come on have you ever called a companies tech support because everything was great and you just wanted to let them know that. Of course not.
As long as the drive is of a recognizable brand has a decent amount of cash and has a good RPM speed you will probably be fine.
ANY drive can fail. ANY brand, ANY, size, internal and external. Just like ANY car can break down, ANY drive can fail.

Were the titles inside the title safe or the action safe, they are two different things.
the stretching may be caused by how the DVD player is connected to the TV, or it could be caused, by a setting on the TV.

Yes, simply copy the itunes folder from the music folder to the other computer.

Nope, the cropping around the edges on a TV, is caused by the TV itself. What you loose is usually minimal though most people will never even notice. Even on a wide screen TV there is a little bit lost on the edges.

Most of them actualy work perfectly with OSX it has been years sense I have even seen one that didn’t work fine.

It is all going to be personal preference as to how it feels in your hand. I personally like the Apple Wireless Mighty Mouse, but that is me. Why don’t you head down to a computer store and see which one feels good to you.

Nope you MUST have the install disks. The only thing that you could do is clone the external drive to the internal, but that would erase all your data on the internal.
Oh and don’t even think of just copying the system folder over, that is just asking for trouble.

I am so excited for this new NLE from Apple. I just hope that there is a smoothie version because I don’t drink coffee.
If there is a smoothie version I just might get that open kiosk at the mall I have been eyeing and move my edit suite there and also sell smoothies.
