Then reselect the title tool and try again.
And still, what kind of drives are you using?

April 28, 2007 at 1:26 amI’d be shot if I changed anything (high pressure situation, and as I said, I’m the assistant here), but here are the settings:
Sequence Preset: DVCPRO HD – 720p24
Capture Preset: DVCPRO HD – 720p24 48kz
Device Control Preset: DVCPRO HD FireWire
Playback Output Video: Blackmagic HDTV 720p 59.94Hz – 8 bit (1280 x720)
Playback Output Audio: DeckLink Audio
ETT and PTV same as PlaybackStorage is 2 x 1TB, 1 x 500 GB – both G-TECH drives.

April 28, 2007 at 1:44 amWell, don’t get yourself killed. It sounds to me like your system resources are full. The reason that the viewer and canvas look different is because the viewer is a different res than your canvas, once you lay in the title, the title conforms to your canvas size.
How much room do you have on your drives and is your capture scratch and render folders pointed to the drive with the most room and speed?

April 28, 2007 at 1:51 amThe different size phenomenon is intermittent – it just started up. On the new titles I’m making now, the frame size field is blank. Earlier it was 960×720, but I still had the render problem.
Capture/Render disk has 355 GB available.

April 28, 2007 at 2:02 am[Budrick21] “The editor who started the project says that when he began the titles worked normally, but then something changed”
This is your problem, man. Really. You have to reset your easy setup. Something changed and you have to change it back, otherwise, render.

April 28, 2007 at 2:06 amMaybe so, but the footage and the timeline play perfectly happy together. I’m inclined to think it’s a side-effect of the long timeline.

April 28, 2007 at 2:09 amThat too, and drives that aren’t exactly the fastest for this kind of long form work.
