I spoke too soon. It’s still doing it.

Yep, still a problem. Not even a slight improvement. May be a little worse.

    Greg,

Can you please tell us exactly how you got your computer configured to run Yosemite and Premiere CC 2015? In other words, did your computer ship with Yosemite installed, or did you install Yosemite, and if so, what steps did you take? Was it a clean install, or an upgrade/update from a previous version of OS X?

    David –

No clean installs. Just the usual Mac upgrade path. I honestly can’t remember what OS my MacBook shipped with anymore. Think it was Lion.

Therein lies the source of your continuing issues. Do a ground up install from scratch, otherwise your issues will most likely never go away.

Plenty of hardheaded people who finally took the time to follow my advice are back up and running without issues. I can’t guarantee 100% that you’ll have the same results, but I can guarantee that you’ll keep having issues if you keep doing the same thing you’ve been doing, and as they say, doing the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of insanity.

This thread started on Dec 23, 2014.

    WHERE IS ADOBE SUPPORT?
Speculation is all we can do.
    Do we dump Yosemite?
Do we go back to Mavericks?
    WHERE IS ADOBE SUPPORT?
Everday my “normal” workflow includes multiple crashes, time lost, and frustration.
I can remember when it was a joy to edit. That memory has almost faded completely.
    WHERE IS ADOBE SUPPORT?
Do we really have to hit the 1 year anniversary of this thread with no solution to this problem.
    WHERE IS ADOBE SUPPORT?

    HELP US!

Thanks for the response, David. I do sincerely appreciate the suggestion, but without some sort of response from Adobe at this point that such a course of action will solve the problem, I can’t risk all that time and effort on a possible solution. Yes, it ridiculous for me to just limp along, but I’m just not confident enough in my tech abilities to handle a full re-install and gathering all my ancillary plug-ins, programs and drivers. It could very easily take me from 3/4 capacity to nil.

    Hi All,

Sorry for the lack of Adobe representation on this thread. As noted by other users this is also being discussed on multiple other forums.

In the past few post I didn’t see a mention of the CUDA driver version used. For anyone still experiencing glitching/artifacts in the monitor can you make sure you’re running CUDA driver 7.0.64. Link provided below. We would love to hear your feedback once tested.

Thanks and sorry for all of the troubles with this issue.

THANK YOU for your response with a very specific recommendation for the CUDA. Version. I will verify my version.
I have a suggestion for Adobe to help alleviate some of the frustration in general.
The current model of users gathering in forum to figure out problems from each other can be helpful at times, but doesn’t it make more sense if the techs and designers at Adobe provide this service to it’s users with a site where official updates, recommendations, best practices and even troubleshooting procedures could be found, a sort of continuous, ongoing support website for it’s users?
Please pass this idea along at Adobe.

While researching another issue I came across this thread and thought I’d toss my $.02. I had a similar problem for a few weeks and tested, reseated, and updated all my graphics components. After still no luck I grasped at the final straw of replacing my aftermarket SSD system drive. I cloned it to a standard platter hard drive, switched it out and haven’t had a problem since, which has been a few months now.

I’m running an early 2008 MacPro, 10.9.5, with an NVIDIA GeForce 285.
