Cool, after not holding an event last year, this is a good thing. I guess we can anticipate a new version of Final Cut Pro being shown and I’m sure they’ll show whatever they’ve done with Final Touch to date.

Final Touch is real, I own it, Apple bought it, I’m sure they’ll show it at the event.
Apple holding an event tells me they are going to introduce the new suite of pro apps, seems to be Final Cut Pro would be on the bill.
I’m surprised Tom Wolsky’s thread about the Apple Patent didn’t get more interest from the folks on this forum because that looked like the FCP interface with the Motion Inspector.
I don’t really call it a rumor if Apple has announced an event.

March 2, 2007 at 12:40 amThe event is not new news, I believe you have to have an invite too.

With all those king size meeting halls?
Yes, it is nice that Apple anounced this special event this year and it should be better than the phoney SF keynote in January. Steve jobs did mention there were some really big things going to be released in the next few months for the Apple Pro crowd. NAB is about video and we are probably the biggest user base of Macs. With all they have been buying in the last year you wonder what is shaken and where the heck is panther? man that cat is too stealthy, I want to see it! I wanna be ridin that bus on the eight lane hiway in Vagas!

In the past you just had to register via the Apple site. The last time I went I believe they had in the neighborhood of 1,000 people.

All I want from a new FCP version is AutoSave in the background.
It’s one royal pain to have to wait for it when you are trying -
