Hi Ricky

They are greyed out, but any new clip i add to those tracks isn’t, and they play normally. I think the tracks are turned on, but forgive me asking what do you mean by the power switch on the timeline? how would i check?

Have you tried sending an AFF of the sequence, embedded with handles, you can give massive handles if need be? that’s how i have got around similarities in the past

yeah that works, its just taking forever. but at least its working. strange about the consolidating, i was hoping for a short cut – oh well. have to move on, at least the transcoding seems to be working 🙂

Hi both – yes i’ve been told that all the canon C300 footage is 25fps. I have set up 1080p/25 project. I can see all the clips when i load them and they seem to play okay. all looks good it just won’t let me consolidate any of it.

The Sony Fs7 footage has mixed frame rates – all seems okay and plays fine. I will start transcoding.

Go Pro and Drones are all mixed frame rates – again all seem fine when i load the clips but they stutter – so i have started transcoding

thanks Michael – i’ll do that

so i think i spoke to soon – i now have an error message that the AMA linked files won’t consolidate

it says all files were skipped – see console – then this is the console message

here is the error message
The clip A001C019_160117BN_CANON was skipped during the Consolidate operation because it is of a foreign compression type.

Hi Shane/Michael/any other lovely person out there?

I’ve installed all the plugins on the page except the Arri ones, i don’t seem to have any old plugins installed, so that can’t be creating a conflict.

but the
OP1a MXF files plugin won’t install neither will AVCHD – the error message is

“no supported editors no compatible avid editor could be found” – I really need to watch the rushes tonight. any help would be massively appreciated

OP1a MXF files plugin won’t install neither will AVCHD – the error message is

no supported editors no compatible avid editor could be found

any suggestions?
