Are the Paul Crisp Mattes supported by Leopard? Or Tiger for that matter?

If you make your own custom presets in compressor, you can export straight out of your FCP timelines or apply them to existing QT files.

Nope. It’s under “user preferences” – general tab.

“Abort capture on dropped frames On timecode break_” change “make new clip” to “Warn after capture”.

Not sure how it works with HDV. I’m an SD guy.

    Paul,

I’m in the middle of running compressor so I can’t check on my machine but check under “system settings” under “Final Cut Pro” at the top.

I’m pretty sure there’s a capture settings” tab there and that’s where you’ll find the “make new clip on start/stop” box that Steve is telling you to uncheck.

    Point taken Walter.

And Tom, hats off to you and Chris! I was having the same problem on my 2 apple flat display set up.

Our I.T. guy here in Chicago recently upgraded me to FCP 5 and forgot to set the 12″ canvas display to millions! Got my title guides back in less than a minute!

More proof that the cow is a true gem in our field.

    Excelsior!
