August 13, 2008 at 7:05 am in reply to: Little problem with ProAnimator FX Camera

    HI Tapio,

You are not supposed to have to create a camera to use the Offline camera. So this will need to be fixed. Please send us a project file showing how objects disappear. It may be that the Motion camera is just looking in the other direction, or that something else is going on. Having a project showing the problem will help us figure it out.

    Send to support@zaxwerks.com

    HI Tapio,

Glad to hear you dig our new FxPlug version of ProAnimator!

These are good reports. I’ll test them to see if they happen to us too. Thanks for reporting them.

    HI John-Paul,

It sounds like you have an undocked panel in AE CS3 see this page for details about how to fix it.

August 12, 2008 at 7:48 am in reply to: combustion compatiblity

    HI Steve,

We haven’t tested them with Combustion. The Invigorator plug-ins definitely won’t work, but it’s possible that ProAnimator might. Download the demo version and give it a try.

August 12, 2008 at 7:46 am in reply to: ZaxWerks and AE render problems

    HI Brian,

It sounds like you have Nucleo Pro installed. Nucleo Pro is not compatible with Zaxwerks 3D plug-ins working inside of AE. The workaround is to turn off Nucleo for *only* the layer that contains the Zaxwerks plug-in. You don’t have to turn it off for the entire comp, just the single layer with Zaxwerks on it.

    Hope that helps,
    Zax

    Hi John,

Glad to hear you like the new UI! The layout of the workspaces was optimized for small monitors. The beauty of the new workspace UI is that you can arrange the panels to best fit your own style and screen configuration!

July 27, 2008 at 7:11 am in reply to: Reflector hangs up render

    Hi Amy,

Turn off the Multi-processing option in the AE prefs. (I take it you’re using CS3) AE will hang when it renders to more than one processor and Reflector is in the project.

Same with Nucleo Pro. If you are using Nucleo, turn it off for this project.

June 18, 2008 at 7:56 pm in reply to: 3D Flag update?

    Hi Dave,

It’s actually a pretty tough problem getting this to work. Since the Flag is a dynamic physical simulation it starts looking wonky if we fudge the movement to get it to do a loop. There are several things I’d like to add to Flag, perhaps at some point we can revisit it to see if there’s a new way of doing this that looks better.
