    Reflector hangs up render

    I have an AE project with two shots that use Reflector. The Reflector shots are precomps in the main sequence. I’ve tried rendering the sequence as a whole, and rendering the Reflector shots by themselves, but the render hangs up every time.

    With the main sequence it hangs up on the first frame that uses Reflector. The precomps render 3 or 4 frames before stopping.

    Are there specific render settings I should be using? I’m working on a Mac Pro with 16G of RAM and 2 x 3 Ghz Quad Core processor running OS X 10.5.4.

    Hi Amy,

    Turn off the Multi-processing option in the AE prefs. (I take it you’re using CS3) AE will hang when it renders to more than one processor and Reflector is in the project.

    Same with Nucleo Pro. If you are using Nucleo, turn it off for this project.
