    Compared with 4K, I think FCP can affod 720p well. I recorded some 4k videos via GH4 and wanna to get hight quality. Howeverm for editing, I downscaled them into 1080p via a third party program. That saves me much time.

    This often happens with AVI files that were created by digital still cameras or software that doesn’t correctly support the AVI standard. Plus, sometimes it doesn’t show video, only the audio with. Here is a possible solution for you: Transcode the AVI File to MPEG-2.

    MKV is a container file format that can hold an unlimited number of video, audio, picture, or subtitle tracks in one file and Sony Vegas doesn’t accept it natively. In order to import MKV Sony Vegas Pro smoothly, you’d need to change MKV to Sony Vegas Pro supported formats first.
