Audio playback sync
I’m using 7.0.3 and have 23.98 1280 x 720 Apple ProRes 422 HQ Square pixel 48.0 16 bit audio playing in a 23.98 sequence. The playback on the computer monitor looks out of sync playing out of Final Cut. The same clip in Quicktime Player looks fine. The playback from Final Cut to an external TV looks fine. Any ideas?

There is normally a difference of a few frames going from FCP to an external devicew like a Kona, Decklink or Martox. So the audio is timed to the external picture and not to FCP. If you watch both the external monitor and the FCP canvas you will see they don’t sync.
