Hello Rob
I was able change the shutter speed while focusing was set to auto.
i dont know how your trying to change the shutter speed but i do it this way,
i use the button “5” on my hand grip with the navigation button allowing us to make instant changes on couple of things..

Also i am using a Sony 18-105 lens.

I have been using the adobe premiere pro cs6
so do i consider that you recommend me to use the 16 bit audio rec on the camera…?
also my cam records 4 channels i have thought of changing it 2 channels.
1 channel as original and the 2nd channel with wind and noise reduction for incase if it could help me in the post production work.

No, am importing the folder directly from PPCS6 project bin.
i dont use the media browser.
