ISSUES with the duration of AVCHD Video in PPCS6
A crazy issue,
for ex. i have a shoot done of 25 mins on Sony NX5 AVCHD FX 1920X1080 50i(highest quality)
the camera show the media duration as 25 mins also Windows explore shows the same.
But when the same file is brought in to PPCS6 (Sequence: AVCHD 1080 50i) it turns itself for 1 hour 20 to 1 hour 30 mins randomly.
i havnt tried transcoding it because of the crazy behavior of the duration.
the same 25 mins video brought to studio 16 and it works fine.
But since i have finished 60% of the production i dont want to change the application and just finish with the project.
i need to know why is this happening & where am i going wrong. -

Are you importing via the media browser in cs6?

No, am importing the folder directly from PPCS6 project bin.
i dont use the media browser. -
Well you should use the media browser. Especially when a camera makes some specialized folder structure for the footage.

Yep. Please us the media browser and report if the duration is still incorrect.
