    Hello,

Thank you for your answer. In fact, the FCP side belongs to a customer so it’s difficult to ask him to install the Avid codecs :S

I know the Animation codec is lossless but the problem is that it works in RGB mode and the native video is in YCrCb so I’m afraid changing the color format will damage the quality.
I tried with uncompressed 10bits 422 standard (not BlackMagic), it worked with my FCP but not with the customer one.

So, I don’t know… Maybe transcoding in “uncompressed standard” with third party softwares… Any other lossless solution ?

Thank you for your answer. In fact, the problem is that I can’t access the “FCP side” because it belongs to a customer.

But I’m curious : If I use Avid codec (such as DNx), which wrapper should I use ? *.mov ?

    Thank you !
(Any other suggestion -> do not hesitate 😉

    Hello Nicole,

thank you for your answer. I’ll check the preference tools, but I’d rather like something like an Applescript trick or an administrator tool…

    “It’s time for end-user education!” : Well, I guess your right 🙂
