Sure! You can crop the left side of the video in the Video inspector using the crop feature.

One thing I’d add to your suggestion is for that Mac mini to have Backblaze running on it so everything gets backed up off-site. Sure, it will chew up bandwidth for a while, but worth it.

My general rule is *never* upgrade mid-project unless I have to – it’s rarely worth the risk. FCP has generally been pretty solid but I have seen plugins stop working properly. If I were you, I would wait until the projects were wrapped up to upgrade.

DW has saved drives many times for me in the past, though. Well worth the money when they get APFS up and running.

The way I handle this is I link to use markers. I go through the notes, and drop a marker at each spot and label them 01, 02, 03, 04, etc so I am able to find them quickly on the spreadsheet. As I finish each change, I remove the marker.
Doing it this way lets me make the changes in whatever order I prefer – it’s served me well for years. Hope that helps!

Andreas, this app is very handy! I needed to export all titles in a short timeline so the text could be sent off for translation, and your app did the trick. Brilliant work!

The goal was to bring an iPad home so it could be used with all our other devices. The ‘droid just wouldn’t work with anything (all Apple ecosystem here). And I’m lazy. I don’t want to have to learn another OS. 😉 Thanks though!

Thanks, I’d seen this when googling around. Downside to that solution is that the Teradek Cube is $1800 – for that price I can buy an iPad *and* a half-decent field monitor.
I was hoping that with the proper cables and some software, it would be possible to do it.
