Upgrade FCPX and Mac OS
Natalie
March 25, 2021 at 10:40 pmIt’s been a while since I upgraded. I’m on 10.14.6 OS and FCPX 10.4.8. I’m getting close to finishing a couple major projects, and so considering this a pretty good time if I choose to do so. What are your thoughts on Big Sur, and the latest FCPX upgrade?

March 26, 2021 at 12:55 pmMy general rule is *never* upgrade mid-project unless I have to – it’s rarely worth the risk. FCP has generally been pretty solid but I have seen plugins stop working properly. If I were you, I would wait until the projects were wrapped up to upgrade.

Can you elaborate on this a bit?
