    True. A lot of work if you want it to look good. You can always send the scene to Color and do it there… but I dont see how it can be done without rotoscoping. It could be easier to raise the overall black levels and apply masks to the faces of the actors – modify the blacks there and rotoscope.

    Do the In Out markers appear on the timeline? Because that’s where they should be, regardless of the viewer.

    I get that all the time. QT has real problems with presenting a 16:9 film… and so does iDVD.

    Question… If you open the exported film in FC does it still look bad? If it does make sure the sequence settings are set for 16:9… also try exporting via QT convertion… you can pick the right codec… and the aspect ratio you want.

    For burning I would recommend Toast Titanium

  • like I said, they work fine for me… just what some people told me.

  • true… FC and mp3 dont mix. AIFF are good but I heard that sometimes they too can cause probles (havent to me though). I convert my mp3 into WAV. A good and free conversion program is MAX (Macintosh Audio for OS X).
