Try “fade to color” and choose white.

[Tom Matthies] “The default audio levels on FCP bars are set to -12db. When outputting through the IO I set the reference tone on the bars to -20db and the audio will hit the Beta deck dead on every time. “

Your right. My bad on the previous post.

In Edit to Tape settings you have the possibility to set the value of the reference tone. I propose 0db. Calibrate to the reference tone and leave the project value unchanged.

If you have made subclips I think you could export them together… though Im not 100% certain if it would keep the information intact.

question: after you fliped the clip did you export it? If not that may be the reason for problem no 1. The program shows the original footage rather than the one after adjustments.

Well, after the photo gets tossed on the table, you have to position the clip in the exact place where the image on the photo is. Convert the clip so that it looks like the image (aspect ratio, size – everything you need is in the basic motion).

I dont know if I understand you correctly…. is the still a frame from the movie clip? I did something simmilar and it worked good, where the first frame of the clip was “frozen” for a couple of seconds, then the clip played on.

Now, if the still was modified so that it looks like a polaroid, it might be good to zoom the still in so that the image looks exactly as the clip frame.
